A team's relative odds to win the 2015 America East Championship depend only partly on their America East bracket seed. Winning the America East Championship also depends on the dynamics of the 2015 America East bracket. In some cases, the team with a better America East Championship seed may actually face a harder path to the America East Championship championship than a team with a worse America East tournament seed.
In addition, because America East tournament seeds are based on win-loss records in America East conference games, America East tournament seeds are not always the most accurate measure of a team's true performance level. This is another reason why higher seeded teams in the America East bracket can have better odds to win the 2015 America East Championship than lower seeded teams in the America East bracket.
