Roger Federer at Wimbledon
Federer Wimbledon History
Roger Federer has had considerable success at Wimbledon. Federer won Wimbledon five years in a row, from 2003 to 2007, and after losing in the final in 2008 to Rafael Nadal, returned to the champion's podium in 2009. However, Federer is in midst of what for him is a cold streak, having failed to win the last five major tournaments. The last time he went that long without claiming a Grand Slam victory was in the 2002 and 2003 seasons. It remains to be seen whether Federer will regain his lost championship form, but if so, the grass of Wimbledon will be a likely place for him to find it.
Federer Wimbledon Outlook
At this year's Wimbledon Federer is projected to have very easy opponents in the first three rounds. The most likely Roger Federer Wimbledon result this year is for him to win the championship. The second most likely result, after a Federer Wimbledon win, is for him to bow out in the semifinal.
