Pick’em News and Notes for NFL Week 12 2020

Week 12 saw the big favorites hold on, while some big blowouts came in games where the betting underdogs prevailed, such as Washington and Atlanta.

We provide near-daily updates (and sometimes depending on the news, multiple updates) each day analyzing games that could impact pick’em pools. So far in Week 12 we have the following updates:

  • Monday: Week 12 mostly went according to form among larger favorites, but there were some surprising blowouts in games thought to be more competitive, and plenty of minor upsets.
  • Sunday: Coronavirus continues to shake up the NFL, as Denver will play without any of the four quarterbacks who were on the roster
  • Friday: the Pittsburgh-Baltimore remains in serious jeopardy of not happening this week, so make sure to review your pool’s rules on how it handles cancellations.
  • Thursday: Kenny Golladay and D’Andre Swift are both out for Detroit, and the Lions also have cornerback issues
  • Wednesday #2: The Pittsburgh-Baltimore game has been moved from Thursday night to Sunday afternoon.
  • Wednesday: a look-ahead to the Thanksgiving games involving Detroit-Houston, Dallas-Washington, and Pittsburgh-Baltimore
  • Tuesday: We recapped the results from another big week in Week 11 results, by looking at our pick recommendations in various pool types.
